About the Role

We are seeking an experienced seamstress or tailor who takes pride in their craft. You will work alongside Sue to assist clients with fittings and carry out a wide range of alterations — from everyday garments to special occasion pieces such as wedding dresses, suits, and formalwear. Our clients trust us with their most important garments, and we hold quality above all else.

What We Are Looking For

  Proven experience in garment alterations and tailoring (minimum 2 years preferred)

• 02

  Proficiency in hemming, taking in / letting out seams, and waistband adjustments

• 03

  Experience with formalwear: wedding dresses, bridesmaid gowns, suits, and prom dresses

• 04

  Skilled in zipper repair and replacement (all types)

• 05

  Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and sergers

• 06

  Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, precise finishes

• 07

  Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• 08

  Good communication skills with clients during fittings
